DC Area Forest Service Retirees Club
The DC Forest Service Retirees Club (FSX)
cordially invites you to join fellow retirees who are dedicated to the
promotion of the ideals and principles of natural resource
conservation. Our membership includes retirees from many of the
Deputy Areas and staffs and is not exclusively a group of foresters and
engineers. We do not charge membership dues.
The speakers at our meetings include the Chief, members of his staff and many natural resource management experts from within and outside of the Forest Service.
We meet bimontly on the third Thursday of odd-numbered months at the Marco Polo Restaurant in Vienna, Virginia. The restaurant is located at 245 Maple Avenue West (phone: 703-281-3922). See the map below.
Our meetings start at 11:30 with a socializing period and excellent buffet luncheon. Our speakers' presentations follow lunch and last between 30 to 45 minutes.
